New Jersey Home Renovation Project
Inside the kitchen, standard dimmers create various light levels and convert Plug-and-Play LED Lightbars into night lights so family members can enter the home easily in the evening or visit the kitchen for a late night snack. Four six-watt lightbars were installed in kick plates for toe space lighting, five nine-watt warm white lightbars enable clear visibility for the often dimly lit countertop spaces, two warm lightbars bring out the warm brown colors of the coffee bar, and six nine-watt daylight color lightbars project a whiter, crisper light on top of the cabinetry for effective cove lighting. Additionally, warm white Marquee LED lamps illuminate decorative pendants over the counter, while PAR38s and new LED Recessed Downlights provide optimal ambient lighting in the kitchen.
-- “Everyone that sees our kitchen is very impressed," said Cheryl Fenimore, homeowner. "Many of our friends have heard about LEDs but don’t understand what they are. They never realized that this new technology could achieve such a high level of lighting while creating a cozy feeling throughout our home.”

Bath Crashers
On episode 404 of “Bath Crashers” on the DIY Network, “Basement Bathroom Overhaul,” MaxLite’s LED Lightbars were highlighted with on-air credit, were installed discreetly in three handmade light boxes that were installed on the bathroom wall. Four lightbars were installed around the perimeter of each light box, creating unobtrusive light sources to add a nice glow to the panes of glass in the center of the boxes. In addition to the lightboxes, the LED Lightbars were installed under the countertop of the bathroom vanity, which made the glass surface glow above. After the bathroom’s demolition and reconstruction, the homeowners were brought to tears of joy after witnessing the bathroom’s stunning makeover.

Maryland Residential Revamp
At the end of a quarter-mile path that cuts through the woods and leads to a courtyard and the owner’s sprawling mansion in Ruxton, Maryland, lays a large white fountain with an open-winged swan at its center. Bmore Green replaced two 500-watt metal halide flood lights with two of MaxLite’s 30-watt LED Small Flood Lights that illuminate the fountain at night. In this same location, two 150-watt metal halide flood lights were replaced with two of MaxLite’s 14-watt LED Small Flood Lights.
-- “Before, the light bulbs were blowing out left and right, and maintenance was a nightmare," said Shane Hresko, CEO of Bmore Green. "The new long-life LED lights are durable and so bright that you can see the fountain clearly in the pitch-dark night down the quarter-mile path that leads from the back courtyard. The view is so striking that it looks like a hologram to see the lights around the fountain glow and the water sparkle from such a far distance. The owner loved the end result so much he called me in the middle of the night to come over and see how it looked. It was surreal.”

Baltimore Building
A mixed-use building in Baltimore, Maryland, was poorly lit and experiencing significant crime and car break-ins in its parking lot. To fix the problem, the building replaced four 400-watt metal halide area lights with just two 100-watt LED Area Lights, and added an additional 50-watt Small LED Flood Light to the center of an existing dual post top fixture. Even by adding an additional fixture, the building is expected to save more than $8,000 in energy and maintenance costs.
-- “I knew I needed to find a light that would cover the entire parking lot from end to end, but I wanted to pay special attention to energy consumption and help the building cut down on their electric bill," said Shane Hresko, CEO of Bmore Green (SDVOB). "Using MaxLite’s LED products, I was able to go down in wattage while producing more light. The quality and amount of light was doubled compared with what they used to have, and the tenants in the building thanked me for taking care of their crime problems. Choosing MaxLite was a no brainer.”
