Birmingham, Alabama-based TekLinks chose MaxLite’s FlatMAX® Edge Lit LED Flat Panels for its new data center. The 120 LED flat panels were installed in the main hallway and electrical room and illuminate the state-of-the-art high-density equipment.

Northeast Small Business:
In the side entrance walkway, a small business in the northeast replaced a 250-watt metal halide fixture with one of MaxLite's 30-watt LED High Mount Area Light with dusk-to-dawn photo sensor, mounted at 22 feet. The new lighting eliminated unsightly insect carcasses beneath the fixture and provided better quality lighting for employees and customers to enter safely into the building.

First Baptist Church:
The First Baptist Church of Bethalto, Illinois chose a range of MaxLite LED indoor and outdoor lamps and luminaires to replace an aging system of fluorescent and metal halide fixtures that had become prohibitively expensive and labor intensive to maintain. The most dramatic transformation occurred on the exterior of the building, where many of the fixtures were no longer functional. The six 400-watt metal halide pole-top fixtures in the parking lot were replaced with QuadroMAX, MaxLite’s universal and scalable outdoor luminaire, in a 160-watt, 5000K configuration. By switching to LED, the church will save approximately 55,000 kWh and $3,600 in energy costs annually, and recoup its investment in 2 ½ years.

First United Methodist Church:
First United Methodist Church in Green Bay, Wisconsin, needed better, brighter lighting in its sanctuary. Inside the church, 10 lighting fixtures were retrofitted with three MaxLite HighMax® lamps in each, for a total of 30 new lamps. And, according to Dave Zochert, President of Visual Impact Lighting, “Light levels in the sanctuary rose from two foot candles to over 14 foot candles, making it much easier for parishioners, especially elder members of the congregation, to read church bulletins and hymnals.”
